Terms and Conditions

1. Payment:

Invoices are to be paid in full on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed with the customer. Invoices will be sent via email to the registered customer email address and will include BACS payment details. We will ask you to sign the invoice to indicate that you are completely satisfied with the work carried out. Please note that any equipment supplied will remain the property of Kimberlee Communications until full payment is received (cheques cleared or funds BACS transferred etc).

For large projects, we may request payment in stages with an upfront stage 1 payment to cover some costs towards equipment purchase.

2. CCTV Services:

Kimberlee Communications will arrange a site survey visit before quoting any financial estimates, even for the most basic of systems.

At this moment in time we do not operate any lease purchase agreements. However we do offer a stage payment system which commences from the moment a contract to commence work is signed. Kimberlee Communications will require an upfront payment based on 30% of the total capital expenditure in order to commence equipment purchase.

Prior to a site visit customers should consider the following aspects:

  • What is the primary requirement of the system - i.e general monitoring, event capture, criminal identity etc

  • Is night time monitoring required

  • What sort of recording is required

  • Do you require the ability to control the cameras focus and viewing angle

  • Do you want to view the camera images over the internet and via a PC/Laptop/PDA

  • Who will "manage" the system

  • What level of image resolution do you require i.e. standard or high-definition?

  • Have you thought about the best location for the recording device (DVR)

  • Should you require remote access via your PC/Laptop to Smartphone, then please ensure you are able to download the relevant apps - i.e. you have your iTunes credentials to hand.

Please note that some CCTV Smart device apps may incur a small charge but this is outside the control of Kimberlee Communications. We also hold no responsibility for the reliability or efficacy of the application.

Desktop or laptop software may also be recommended as suitable. We will download and install the software onto your device but have no responsibility for the performance of the software or maintaining device security as that is the responsibility of the customer to maintain.

Assistance with the retrieval of recorded CCTV footage for criminal investigation (or other) purposes can be provided but will be charged on a Time and Materials basis. Rates will be discussed at the time of the request.

3. Wi-Fi, Network, Audio Visual and Telephony Services:

As for CCTV we will arrange a free on-site survey in order to fully understand your requirements and the location constraints. From this survey we will provide a ball-park estimate. Should you require a detailed technical report and quotation a charge will be applied based on time and effort required. Should you agree to proceed with Kimberlee Communications for the installation then the design fee with be waived.

Telephony services such as SIP and Hosted VoIP will require a 24 month minimum term contract and a broadband connection that is more than sufficient to carry VoIP services.

4. Systems Design and Intellectual Property:

Where extensive systems design is required, a fee will be charged for requirements analysis and high/low level design as part of the proposal/quotation. This document remains the property of Kimberlee Communications until such time as payment is received.

5. Guarantees:

All installation services will hold a minimum 12 month guarantee. Issues relating to workmanship, materials or configuration will be addressed as far as is practically possible within the guarantee period.

Equipment warranties vary from 12 months to 3 years and will be notified during the installation period.
